Hello,
While cleaning up I found two Weber carbs with the number
88 HF AA B 2701
I thought about trowing them away but since they have never been used I could make somebody happy with it. I just do not know for which car these carbs are. Can anybody help me?
thanks |

that would be a Ford factory part number. Call the dealer and see what it fits. If you could post a picture here, we can tell you what it is. The Weber carb always has a number stamped into the base as well _________________ Jim Hilton

Yeah, I see it now. The full number is 28/36 DFTH 9A 01
So can this number help determine for which car this is used? |

Hello.
I suspect it is actually 28/30 DFTH 9A in which case it fits Ford Sierra 1.6.
As Jim says, probably best to stick it on Ebay. Might fetch a few quid. |

That's what I got after turning the photo upside down but the bizarre thing is,it looks to have an electronic choke setup, most Sierras had the aqua setup |
