Which would be the perfect jets, etc to fit a 36 DCD7 to a 1400 8v vw fox ( golf mk1 engine )?
And how do I set the carb to perfection without using a CO tester or the like, eg.
screw air/fuel screw in all the way in...and turn out by 2 turns, etc? |

there are no perfect jets. you have to experiment if you have no metering equipment.
for idle mixture screw, i would say if you have more than 2 turns out, for the highest steady vacuum, the idle jet size needs to be increased _________________ Jim Hilton
