Hello,
register finally, after first reading only.
I have a Ford preXflow with twin 40 DCOE, and i have 2 questions;
When cornering, the engine stalks, like getting no fuel or to much fuel.
Just keep the pedal down and it will go again. Mostly when the engine is warm/hot.
Can't get it out, checked every possible thing I read in Weber tune-up book, and I read here.
I checked the float level (metal=8,0mm), the travel (2mm), replaced needle valves and gaskets (servicekits).
Also hear a sound sometimes when driving around 3000 rpm in 4th, first thinking there was a misfire, but it is a typical Weber sound, I used to hear a lot in the good old times when carbs like this where standard on an Alfa.
Any suggestions ?

Your fuel pressure could be too high. No more than 3 psi. Maybe your float levels are too high as well.

Float level is 8mm, fuel pressure is 2,5 psi (adjustable filter king added)

what main jets and pump jets do you have ? What is your choke size as well? This could be a richness problem. I think you could start at 120 mains

mains 125 F16 155
accl. 40
idle 40F9
chokes 34

Tuned on rolling road, setting everything to best possible, this came out as best. Must say; it runs perfect.
