| Hi peeps ideal forum by the way, my question is thou, does anyone have fitting instructions or a 'how to' to tune up a weber carb fitted to a 1.6 golf driver, ????? cheers peeps |

| What carb do you have on your Golf? Is it a 32/34DMTL? |

| i do belive its either a 32/34 or a 34/36 its on a 1.6 dude sorry thats all the info i have , its also a manual choke if that helps. |

Do plug cuts on the motorway if you can. Drive for about 5 miles at say 60 mph. cut the ignition and push in the clutch and come to a stop. Check one of the plugs to see what color it is.
also, for the idle circuit. turn the curb idle speed up to about 2000rpm then turn the idle mixture screw in and out. If the engine speeds up when you turn the screw open, then you need a larger idle jet. if you turn the screw in, and the idle goes faster, then you need a smaller one. _________________ Jim Hilton
