Hi to all. I have just obtained a Triumph Stag, with a 3 litre V8 in it.
The original carbs have been replaced with a 40 DFI Weber.
Problem- no vacuum take of for the ignition advance.
Does anyone know where to drill the body to get the vacuum needed ?

there might be a boss on the base of the carburetor, that has a little indent in it. That would be the place for vacuum advance. Do not hook up vacuum advance to the manifold. The vacuum advance pipe should be installed above the throttle plate, but below the idle mixture screw port. _________________ Jim Hilton
